a) Dr. Md. Salah Uddin, the instructor of the said course was born in Manikganj (Village- Gilanda, P.O- Joynagar, Upazila and District -Manikganj, on the bank of the river Kaliganga adjacent to the Dhaka-Aricha Road) in a respectable Muslim family in 1953.
b) The instructor completed his Secondary School Certificate education9Science Group under BISE, Dhaka) from Manikganj Govt. High School in 1969 and Higher Secondar Certificate education from Manikganj Devendra College in 1971.
c) He received B.Sc. A.H. (Hons), M.Sc. A.H. (Poultry Science), Ph.D. (Animal Nutrition) from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh in 1976, 1978 and 1992 respectively. The titles of his dissertations for Master Degree and Doctor of Philosophy were -“Effects of different pre-incubation holding periods on hatchability of different breeds of chickens” and “ Effects of different diatary protein and energy levels on the performances of layer strains chickens in Bangladesh”.
Professor Dr. A.M.M. Tareque, former Dean, FAH, BAU, Supervisor for the completion of his research works for awarding the Ph.D.degree. Post Doc, PGT (HAAC), PGGT (Japan). He is the father of two daughters (eldest one is and MBBS at the youngest one is a University student in BBA) in family life.
